The Lasso

The Lasso is a women's footy newsletter launched ahead of the 2026 AFLW season. After two years writing about footy for This Week in Football, I wanted to launch my own publication focused on the women's game. I'm a passionate fan of the league since its inception, and believe there's an unfulfilled desire for independent analysis within the community. 

I write primarily on substack doing round reviews, previews, longer-form analysis pieces, and the occasional interview. A full archive of the posts can be found there, however I also host longer-form pieces on this site.
